no matter if you start in bern or luzern, you drive on the highway to interlaken and take the exit wilderswil/grindelwald/lauterbrunnen. follow the signs and you will arrive in grindelwald approximately 30 minutes later. have a safe trip!

BY AIRPLANE, TRAIN AND LOCAL BUS
if you fly to switzerland you will arrive at the airport in zürich, bern-belp, basel or geneva. from there you will be able to take the train all the way to grindelwald. we are more than happy to help you plan your trip, and find the best connection to grindelwald. here you’ll find the time table for the trains
you`ll find the bus terminal at the bärplatz, right next to the main train station in grindelwald. a bus stop is located directly in front of our hotel. on the day of your arrival, you can use the FREE local bus from the train station to the lauberhorn with the hotel reservation (bus nr. 121 direction Oberer Gletscher or bus nr. 124 direction Bodmi). if there is no local bus at your arrival time, we will pick you up at grindelwald train station (3.00 to 9.00 pm). for the pick-up service, please call us as soon as you arrive at grindelwald station

BY FEET
our hotel is very easy to find. starting at the train station you follow the direction to „Oberer Gletscher“ and „Grosse Scheidegg“. about 500 meters after the church you’ll find us on the left hand side of the main road. there is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel lauberhorn (line 121 or 128)

you`ll find the bus terminal at the bärplatz, right next to the main train station in grindelwald. a bus stop is located directly in front of our hotel.
additionally during the winter&summer season there is a local/ski bus that will take you directly to the Firstgondolas or to the Terminal for the Eiger-Express (gondolas up to Eigergletscher-Jungfraujoch) or up to Männlichen or the main train station to connect to the Kleine Scheidegg ski area and the Jungfraujoch.
